Notes from the Road

Upon graduating from Wesleyan University in May of 2025, my dear friend Daniela and I set out on a two week cross-country roadtrip. Our days were filled with hours of driving and subsequent hours of conversation; this was easily the chattiest roadtrip I’ve ever been on. The string of topics and ideas we covered in 14 days was vast and inspiring, and activated my mind in a way it hadn’t been in awhile. Even when she slept, my mind was firing out ideas (many un-notable and stupid) and I wrote them down to share with her when she woke up. By the end of the roadtrip, I had compiled a lengthy list of these random thoughts and ideas that I’ve since compiled and created illustrations to accompany.

Thank you to Nomi Kuntz for the beautiful cover design.
